Title: A Tale of Two Dragons
Author: G. A. Aiken
Series: Dragon Kin #0.2
Pages: 162

Addolgar the Cheerful, son of Aileen and Shalin, is called before the queen to protect a Lady heading home. Braith of the Darkness is ordered by the Queen to be the lady’s companion and keep her company. This trip leads to the uncovering of a plot to overthrow the queen.
I really liked Braith of the Darkness. She was such a kickass woman. She took no shit and had no problem beating the crap out of Addolgar and his family. Addolgar the Cheerful was an adorable, charming, goofy, and sometimes an idiot. I quite liked him. He really understood Braith and way of thinking. He did everything he could to make her happy and helped her find her happiness, which I adored.
These two were complete opposites but their relationship worked perfectly. They balanced each other out and worked well together. I am really loving the Cadwaldr family. They are so crazy and deadly. Also, the Penarddun women were badasses and I hope we see more of them in future books.
