The Witch of the Forest’s Guide to Natural Magick is a wonderful introduction to harnessing your inner magick. Whether you are in the broom closet or out-and-proud, Lindsay Squire has provided a wonderful and informative guide to the beginner aspects of magic that will allow you to succeed and thrive.
This is a wonderfully informative and easy to read book. This book covers a wide array of topics including herbs, candles, moon magic, rituals, sigils, and sabbaths. Everything provided in this book is simple and easy to do, which is very important for beginners. The best part of this book though was that she provides information on how to practice if you are still in the broom closet, which most beginners are. I wish this information had been available when I was first practicing because it was very useful, especially the tips about alternative everyday household things that can be turned into rituals or used for magick.
The illustrations within this book were beautiful and really helped bring out the main points of this book, which will be very helpful for beginners. While I am not a beginner, I do plan on buying this book because it will be a great reference book and I liked some of her ideas about alternative options for those who are in hiding or if you are on a budget.
