Title: In the Devil’s Nebula
Author: Anna Hackett
Series: Phoenix Adventures #2
Pages: 261

Zayn, a former Strike Wing pilot, now spends his days treasure hunting alongside his brothers. When an assassin lures them into a hunt for her freedom, he finds himself confronting his past and his lost love.
This was another action packed adventure for the Phoenix brothers. Zayn was shown as the care-free brother in the previous book but we find that isn’t really the case. He has been running from the demons of his past and meeting Ria means he can’t run anymore. It was an emotional struggle for Zayn to see Ria for herself in the beginning but he quickly finds himself falling for her, not his lost love Vik.
Ria was a wonderful and deadly heroine. I can always count on Anna Hackett’s writing to have kickass females. I liked that while Ria wasn’t an assassin at heart, she still wasn’t afraid to kill for those she loved. Ria and Zayn were a great team and a great couple. I can’t wait to see what they will do in future books.
