4 stars – It was really good

Jane Jameson thinks her life might finally be calming down for a change, until she witnesses a hit and run that fatally wounds a teenage acquaintance. Now she is responsible for a newborn vamp, preparing for her wedding, and dealing with all the other crazy shenanigans that seem to happen to her.

Well this was a wonderful and hilarious ending to Jane Jameson’s story. While I had some issues with Gabriel’s in previous books, he really showed his love for Jane in this one and returned to a hero I actually enjoyed. As a book lover, I adored the way Gabriel proposed and the whole theme of their wedding. It was totally Jane and just what they deserved.

As with all the books in this series, I adored all the side characters as usual. I love her found family of Dick, Zeb, Jolene and Andrea. The newest addition of Jamie was a surprise and actually worked wonderfully with the story. I found myself loving Jamie and how he quickly became like a son to Jane and Gabriel.

Jane is also finally getting along with her family, including her mother. It was surprising to see how much their relationship has changed since the first book (where I hated all of her family except her father). Also the part with Jane and her father spending time together the day before her wedding was adorable.

Overall, this was a great ending to Jane’s story and I really hope she shows up in the Half-Moon Hollow series because I think it would be interesting to see her from other characters’ perspectives.
