Hello everyone! Can you believe June is almost over! Time is flying it seems. Anyways it’s Wednesday so that means its time for another WWW Wednesday post!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. The three questions to answer are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Currently I am reading three books, two of which are audiobooks. I started another Kleypas books and I finally found one that works for me. I am loving Again the Magic and will most likely read the rest of the series.
Yesterday I started the audible podcast Tan France’s Queer Icons. I have only listened to the first episode but it is very fascinating so far. Also this is only an eight episode podcast so only around 4.5 hours.
I hit the halfway mark yesterday on The New Jim Crow. It is fascinating, heartbreaking, and astonishing all at the same time. It is a dense book though so I am listening to it in small chunks so I hopefully retain more of the information. It will defiantly be one that I need to revisit in the future just because of the amount of information that is in it.
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last week I have finished nine books, two of which were audiobooks. Also a few novellas.
- Defy the Dawn by Lara Adrian
- Midnight Untamed by Lara Adrian
- Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs by Molly Harper
- Winter’s Wallflower by Scarlett Scott
- Midnight Unbound by Lara Adrian
- B.P.R.D. Vampire by Mike Mignola
- Winter’s Woman by Scarlett Scott
- Sing Anyways by Anita Kelly
- Nice Girls Don’t Date Dead Men by Molly Harper
Also I finally read a book when it was actually popular, not years later. Sing Actually was very cute and I highly recommend it, especially this month.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I will continue bouncing between series like I have been. Sadly, I have added more series I am in the middle of now. So expect to see reviews from the Midnight Breed series, the Wicked Winters series, and the Jane Jameson series. Hopefully I don’t end up adding more series to that list but who knows with how my moods have been.
