In March, I posted my Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Summer TBR and now that it is summer I figured it would be time to check in and see how I did, especially since I just posted my Summer TBR last week. I will say that creating TBR’s for each season seems to be working for me because it gives me more time to read those specific books.
So without further ado, her was my spring TBR:
This was a wonderful start for a new series in the Kate Daniel universe. I actually like Aurelia/ Julie more than I thought I would and can’t wait to see what will happen in the next book.
I did reread this whole series! It was just as emotional and wonderful as I remembered. I went on to reread two more of her series as well.
Barbarian’s Beloved (Ice Planet Barbarians #16) by Ruby Dixon
I have actually decided that I am not going to catch up on this series. I will be continuing to read the new Icehome novels (spin off series) though.
After owning this book for three years I have finally read it. I really enjoyed this story and know it will be one that I will reread in the future.
The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
So I actually forgot that this was on my TBR so it didn’t get read. I did add it to my summer TBR so hopefully I actually read it this summer.
Again the Magic (Wallflowers #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas
I actually read two other Kleypas books instead of this one. I didn’t exactly love those two and one was a DNF, so I hope this book will be a winner for me.
Aubreigne (Whispers From the Bayou #6) by Sandra R. Neely
This book hasn’t gotten read yet because I just wasn’t feeling it. I am just going to let it sit on my kindle until I feel like picking it up.
This was a great slow building romance with a wallflower and disabled Duke. I really liked Kitty and Alexander. It did take some time to get use to Reid’s writing though.
This was a wonderful and hilarious memoir about Zach Anner’s life with cerebral palsy. I listened to the audiobook, which he narrates, and I highly recommend it.
Mostly 4 and 5 stars
This is one of my favorite paranormal romance. I reread it every couple of years. It was wonderful and hilarious as always. I went on to read her spin-off series The Honey Badger Chronicles as well.
I did pretty well on my TBR this time. Only 4 that didn’t get read so I count that as a win. We will see how I do on my summer TBR though. It would be great if I could one day say I actually read all the books on my TBR.
