#FaeFriday is a weekly book tag created by Kristy at CaffeinatedFae, who is also the creator of the tag image above.

Here’s the rules:

  • If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
  • Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
  • Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!

It’s #FaeFriday and the weekend before my bestie’s birthday! That is why the prompt this week is:

What are some of your favorite friendships that you have read?

This topic was a fun one. There are so many great friendships in books but there were just a few that instantly came to mind. I decided to go with the first two that came to mind, otherwise this would be a long post.

Charley and Cookie from the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones

First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones

These two have a great friendship that was filled with laughs and love. I loved how supportive they were of each other, especially during stressful situations. Charley and Cookie have the kind of friendship that I was envious of.

Gwen and Blayne from the Pride series by Shelly Laurenston (their specific books are The Mane Squeeze and Beast Behaving Badly)

These two are both hybrid shifters that banded together as kids and have looked out for each other since. Their personalities complement each other and make them the perfect team. I just love any time they are together because they were hilarious and crazy together.
