4 stars – It was really good

Livy Kowalski is dealing with her dad’s shocking death, her crazy family, and the lack of motivation for her career. She finds herself only relaxing when she is in Vic Barinov’s house eating all of his honey. The more time she spends with Vic though the more she realizes she likes him.

I love the honey badgers! They are crazy and I couldn’t get enough of them. Livy is different from her criminal family but she knows she can count on them to find her fathers killer. I liked that she was struggling with her career and passion in photography because that is a very common thing for artists to go through. It made her more real and relatable.

Vic was a tiger-bear hybrid who I instantly loved. He was sweet with Livy and understood her better than anyone. He never pushed her to talk about her problems and let her work through things at her own pace. I also really liked his family. They were supportive and slightly crazy, which I really liked.

This story also concludes the search for Whitlan and the shifter hunter. I enjoyed this story arc throughout this series and enjoyed how it ended. Honey badgers are mean and they know how to get revenge. I can’t wait to reread the next series because it is all about the honey badgers and I need more stories with them.
