5 stars – I loved it!

When Blayne Thorpe first met Bo Novikov he terrified her. Now ten years later she keeps running into him and she realizes there is more to him than the grumpy aggressive hockey player everyone thinks he is. She offers a trade, he helps her with her focus during roller derby and she will try to help him with his attitude.

I adore these two. Bo is such a surprisingly complex shifter. He is extremely aggressive and focused on his career in hockey but around Blayne he relaxes a little. He is still OCD and strict with his schedule but he laughs more and actually starts living. Also I loved his sense of humor that slowly came out as the book progressed. Blayne is the crazy wolfdog that was introduced in the previous books. She is always happy and energetic, at least until someone pushes her too far.

Between the weird and hilarious conversations, their steamy relationship, and their fights for the championships in hockey and roller derby, these were an extremely fun couple who I instantly loved. I am really loving these hybrid couples and look forward to more crazy shenanigans in the next book.
