3 stars – I liked it

In this volume, the main focus of this volume is on Agent Howards and Agent Ashley Stode. Agent Howards continues to be a deadly fighter against the Ogdru Hem monsters that show up. The glimpses of his time in the past are slowly unveiling what happened to him while he was sleeping. I really want to know what happened to him though.

I really enjoyed the Exorcism story in this one. It focuses on Agent Ashley Strode who is now the B.P.R.D.’s lead agent when it comes to anything involving exorcisms, ghosts, or demons. I really liked the progression we see on her character. I really want to learn more about her so I hope she shows up more in future volumes.

Overall, I enjoyed the break from Johann and Liz in this one. It was nice to learn more about some of the other agents and what they have been fighting against.
