3 stars – I liked it

The BRPD is struggling to cover all the monster incidents around the world, especially with their best agent still in a coma and the other one going AWOL. The Nazi’s also return and are attempting to bring back their master Rasputin.

This was an interesting set of stories. The main focus on this volume is Johann and Fenix. Johann is still acting strange and goes AWOL on a mission that leads to many deaths. They finally get Fenix to the BRPD headquarters but she doesn’t provide any real information for them. I am curious to see where her story leads.

We also see a conclusion to Captain Daimio’s story in this volume. It was an expected conclusion with his curse. Also a brief glimpse of Liz happens and I am sure she will be returning soon (at least I hope so).

Overall, a good volume but I do wonder where the story is going. It is a little all over the place with the different character storylines.
