4 stars – It was really good

After years of focusing on his career, Theodore Punch is tired of being alone and is looking for a partner. He asks his best friend, Camden, to help set him up with someone. Unfortunately, Camden has been in love with Theo for most of their lives and doesn’t want to help, but he reluctantly does.

This was such a good book. I love a good friend to lovers romance and this one was perfect. Theo was just an adorable, sweet, and very clueless man, and I absolutely loved him. Cam was a party boy at one point but now he is trying to get his life on track. Camden wants to have a relationship with Theo but he is very scared of it failing and their friendship being severed. These two were complete opposites but they complement each other perfectly. Also, I am envious of their friendship.

I really enjoyed Theo’s exploration into toys with Camden. It was adorable having this extremely smart man be nervous and clueless on how to use sex toys. The sexy phone calls between these two were so hot and it just got steamier when they were actually together. I love how McLellan’s books normalizes the use of toys during relationships.

Overall, this was a great book and I highly recommend it if you love sweet and adorable couples, with a lot of steamy scenes.
