3 stars – I liked it

Paranormal private investigator and witch, Rudy Hart, is searching for a man with a unique hand tattoo. Finding him means her fledgling business will have a chance at succeeding in Nocturne Falls. What she doesn’t expect is a gorgeous alien to declare he loves her and wants to marry her.

This was a fun and quick story. Ruby is searching for her target at the Black & Orange Ball and keeps being drawn to an alien dress as the huntsmen. He is drawn to her as well but unfortunately has been spelled and they are both unsure if the feelings are real. I liked both of these characters. Ruby was a great addition to the Hart family. I loved her interactions with her brothers.

Max used to be a rich party man but after an incident he moves to Earth to start a new life. For a man who used to have everything, he was a very kind and caring character. I was expecting snobbery but he was a pretty good hero. Their relationship is an instant love one but at least this one takes place over a few days of them getting to know each other.

Overall, a cute and sweet story with the Hart family. Now I hope the aunt finds a partner and her HEA.
