3 stars – I liked it

Isabel Winstead has found acceptance in the hidden alien community in Nocturne Falls. She loves this little town, her job, and her friends. Unfortunately she can’t get over her crush on the unattainable vampire, Viktor Hart.

This was a major instant love story. Viktor barely knows Isabel but the moment he kisses her he falls in love. He is convinced it’s because of a love spell his mother put on him and causes Isabel a lot of pain and embarrassment. I liked seeing Viktor fall in love but I do wish there had been more of a development in their relationship.

I liked Isabel a lot. She was sweet and determined to build a new life for herself in Nocturne Falls. She left Alpha-Prime because of her abusive half-brother and now just wants to find happiness. She finds it with Viktor, pretty abruptly like I said, but they were still cute together. Overall, cute story but there was no build up in the relationship which might be a turn off for some people.
