Title: Cup of Joe
Author: Annabeth Albert
Series: Bold Brew #1
Pages: 194

Newbie barista Levi Miles is having a bad day during the middle of a bad month. His post-graduation life is not going well, especially after a bad break up. His one bright spot is the charming Joe Simmons with the simple order and reassuring voice.
This was a wonderful, low angst romance, that was also very kinky. Even though their attraction is mutual, Joe is hesitant to start anything with Levi because of their age gap, and his recent break up. He quickly overcomes that once he realizes how much he likes being around Levi. Joe and Levi just lift each other up in different ways, which is just what I want to see in a couple. Also, I love all the little things that they do to take care of each other, especially Levi taking care of Joe.
This was just a wonderful story about two sweet men who want to explore their kinks together, especially their Daddy kink. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. Joe is so protective of Levi, both in and out of the bedroom, that I couldn’t help but instantly love him. Annabeth Albert really knows how to write amazingly sweet characters that you can’t help but love. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series and learn more about the couples of this LGBTQ friendly coffee shop.
