3 stars – I liked it

Rayne, a fairy godfather, is struggling to help Alice, the owner of the local bagel shop, find her Prince Charming. Unfortunately, he keeps being distracted by his best friend’s sister.

This was a cute story. I really enjoyed Rayne and Viola’s relationship. Rayne was a very interesting fae. He was a fairy godfather, which I love that this is a thing, but also a beekeeper. He has a strong affinity with any flying insect and can communicate with them. Basically, he was a fascinating and unique character who I instantly liked.

Viola is from the local land baron family but she isn’t a spoiled rich girl. She works hard and is determined to have her own life. I really like that she doesn’t put her dream of being a perfumer creator off just because she starts a relationship with Rayne. Also I loved how supportive he was of her decisions and doesn’t try to hold her back.

I also liked that we got to see previous couples in this series again. It was nice to check in on the couples and see how their lives have changed or will be changing. Overall, this was a cute story and the narrator did a great job at bringing it, and the characters, to life.
