#FaeFriday: Favorite History Books By Black Authors

#FaeFriday is a weekly book tag created by Kristy at CaffeinatedFae, who is also the creator of the tag image above.

Here’s the rules:

  • Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
  • If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
  • Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
  • Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!

It’s the last Friday in February, and this week’s prompt is:

What are some of your favorite history books written by Black authors?

I have only read two history book (as far as I know anyways) written by a black authors. Stamped From the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X Kendi and Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi. I do have a few more on my TBR though, I just haven’t gotten around to actually reading them yet.
