4 stars – It was really good

Amanda Ellis and Wren Rebello have been online friends for years but have never met in person or even talked to each other. Amanda is tired of doing what is expected for her and decides to take the New Years off and spend it with Wren. The instant attraction between them is unexpected but perfect for a New Year’s fling.

This was fun and sexy. I enjoyed Amanda and Wren’s relationship a lot. They had a lot of chemistry and a lot of feelings for each other. With Wren, Amanda is finally able to open up and embrace her sexuality and be herself. She isn’t the boring and quiet person that everyone expects her to be. Wren has been seen as the party girl who is fun but never serious. Together these two balance each other out and bring stability and fun to their lives.

McLellan has written a wonderful series filled with sexual positivity and exploration with great characters. Amanda and Wren were great characters who worked wonderfully together. I adored them. I also loved seeing all the previous couples make an appearance in this book. This is just a great group of friends who are open with their desires and sexuality. Overall, this was a steamy and fun holiday romance.
