Kaylae Drayce is on the run and has ended up in Nocturne Falls. While in Nocturne Falls she finds the truth about her heritage and why people are trying to kill her.

This was a pretty enjoyable dragon romance. As always, I love the setting of Nocturne Falls, even through the eyes of other authors. Kaylea and Zareh were pretty good characters and I enjoyed their fated mate romance.

My issue with this book is that while the concept of the dragon keepers was very fascinating, it wasnโ€™t explained very well. The explanation given is adequate but it does leave you with a lot of questions with no expectations of finding the answers. I feel like this story needed a prequel book to better explain why the dragons and keepers left their world.

Overall this was a fun and enjoyable story, but I do wish the characters backstories and heritages had been better fleshed out.
