#FaeFriday is a weekly book tag created by Kristy at CaffeinatedFae, who is also the creator of the tag image above.
Here’s the rules:
- Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae.
- If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well.
- Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
- Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
Another week has passed, and it’s time for another answer, dust a bit of magic around and answer the prompt:
Has a book ever changed your life? If so, how.
This prompt was a lot harder than I thought it would be. It took awhile but after browsing my bookshelves I realized there was one book that I have read recently that has changed my life. That book is Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X. Kendi.
This book changed the way I viewed the current education system in America. I learned so much about slavery, Abraham Lincoln, the 13th amendment, and the influential Black Americans of that time. I cannot recommend this book enough if you want to learn about America’s history.
