All of my reads this month were 3 and 4 stars it seems. I only have one 5 star rating and it was for The Five: The Lives of Jack the Ripper’s Women by Hallie Rubenhold.

Genres and Tropes:

December Genres

As usual, my most read genre is paranormal romance.

December tropes

My most common tropes this month were instant love and cozy mystery. This is because I reread the whole Nocturne Falls series which is majority instant love relationships. The mystery is the Jayne Frost series, also by Kristen Painter and set in Nocturne Falls.

Not surprising, I read mostly what I already owned. I did get a few books from the library this month. Also finished 3 ARCs as well.

Most Read Author:

Most read authors for December

Not surprising that Kristen Painter is my #1 read author this month. I reread the whole Nocturne Falls series and have read almost all of the Jayne Frost series by her. I also read 6 books by Donna Grant, two of which were ARCs.
