3 stars – I liked it

Andrea Nash of the Order of Knights of Merciful Aid has taken over Kate’s duties while she is on medical leave. After getting a call about a shifter needing assistance she finds herself dealing with a giant three-headed dog and the sexy, Raphael.

I love that we are getting novella’s from other characters’ perspectives. Don’t get me wrong I love Kate, but it’s nice to see how other characters react to events. Andrea has been pushing Raphael away for six months because she is afraid. Having to work with Raphael makes her confront her feelings and finally admit she wants him.

While I like Andrea, I do think she is a little too straight laced currently. She needs to loosen up a bit but Raphael is helping with that. I feel like she will get better as the series progresses. I do enjoy their flirtatious banter between them though.

Overall, an action packed novella filled with mythological creatures and gods. I do hope we see more of Teddy Jo in the future because he was very interesting.
