4 stars out of five
4 stars – It was really good

This volume consists of short stories featuring various people’s interactions with Morpheus and Death. The stories were quite fascinating because they were all from different centuries. Some were from before his imprisonment and some after.

My favorite story was “A Dream of a Thousand Cats.” I loved the alternative history where cats ruled the world. I wonder if the cats will appear in future stories. In the last story, “Facade”, we finally have the reappearance of Death. This story was very interesting and weird. I do hope we get more of her stories in the future volumes though because I really want to know more about her.

Overall, this series is still very fascinating and macabre. The mixture of horror, fantasy, and weirdness really keeps your attention and makes you wonder what is going to happen next.
