3 stars – I liked it

Raven has always been on her own so when she is kidnapped by a feral outcast, she doesn’t expect a rescue. Then U’dron saves her. He is the only one who seems to understand her on this frozen planet. But both U’dron and Raven have secrets that might change everything.

This was a pretty good friends to lovers romance. Raven hasn’t really been in the series very much so I didn’t know what to expect with her book. I enjoyed this one. It was nice to have a couple who were friends first and then went into a relationship without resonance. U’dron was a surprisingly sweet alien. I liked how he took care of Raven and talked with her about things. I really enjoyed the easy communication between these two and that U’dron was willing to take instructions to make Raven happy. 😉

This book also introduced us to two new alien outcasts. I am interested in seeing what happens with them in the future books. Overall, this was a great addition to the series.
