#SixForSunday: Scary stories

Six for Sunday is a weekly book tag created in June 2017 by Steph at A Little But a Lot.

This week’s prompt is: Scary stories/characters

This is going to be scary-ish stories that I feel are perfect for the Halloween season. A few of these are short stories so if you are looking for some quick spooky stories maybe check a few of these out.

Also, I love that all the books have a red theme going for the them.

  1. The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe (Short story)
  2. The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe (Short story)
  3. Witches and Poppets by Melanie Karsak (Short story and currently Free)
  4. Dracula by Bram Stoker
  5. Hellboy by Mike Mignola (for those comic fans)
  6. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas (not exactly scary but it has ghosts and is definitely Halloween themed.)
