This week’s prompt is: What book did you enjoy that took place at a school?
Wonderland Academy by Melanie Karsak was a fascinating and unique take on Wonderland. Karsak has created a wonderful world that is fascinating and magical. She has taken a beloved classic and re-imagined the world and creatures in it. I loved the premise of this academy in Wonderland with different factions with underlying politics.
TW: mental illness, PTSD, suicide
I really enjoy Karsak’s unique retellings. I highly recommend her work if you are looking for unique retellings, especially if you want are interested in steampunk ones.
