Title: Tangle of Need
Author: Nalini Singh
Series: Psy-Changeling #11
Pages: 43

Adria has finally broken away from her failed relationship. She is back at home in SnowDancer territory and is trying to find herself again. What she doesn’t plan for is the growing attraction to the handsome SnowDancer Lieutenant, Riaz.
This book focused on three couples: Adria and Riaz, Hawke and Sienna, and Mercy and Riley. Adria and Riaz were the main focus of the three though since they were the new couple. Sadly, I didn’t care for Aria and Riaz. I would have been happy if their relationship had been a novella or had just been a background relationship. While I feel Singh did an amazing job at having Riaz pick Adria because he loved her, I still didn’t connect enough with this couple to love their relationship. I found myself skimming a lot of their parts, especially towards the end, just to get to the chapters without them.
I loved the continued development with Hawke and Sienna’s relationship. We see their relationship growing and becoming a solid alpha couple. We also get quite a few scenes with Mercy and Riley, which I really enjoyed. They have a big announcement in this one and I can’t wait to see how it plays out. While I was loving all the scenes with Hawke and Sienna and Mercy and Riley, it didn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t enjoy the main couple, hence the 2.5 stars.
This is definitely not my favorite of the series but I still enjoyed the overall development of the plot. Pure Psy is trying to make a stand again, new alliances are hashed out, and we finally find what Kaleb is searching for. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen in the next book.
