4 stars out of five
4 stars – It was really good

Just FYI this book takes place right after book two, Hearth and Home, which is why I am reading it before I read books 3 and 4.

Mary Sophia James came to Gold Sky, Montana to find a husband. After her mother tries to set her up with Julian Baptiste she realizes time is running out and soon her condition will become obvious. Alex Piece doesn’t expect to be floored by the beautiful socialite she meets in town. When Alex realizes the reasoning behind Mary’s push for a husband she offers herself up as her wife instead.

This was such a sweet and beautiful romance. Minnie and Alex were so cute together. I just loved how Alex went to great lengths to get Minnie away from her overbearing mother and make her happy. You could feel so much emotion between these two that with just that first look I knew I was going to really enjoy this book.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to continue reading more about this accepting and beautiful town. Also, this cover is beautiful!!
