5 stars – I loved it!

Judd Lauren was once an Arrow, an elite warrior for the Psy Council. Now he is a defector who feels nothing until it comes to Brenna. Brenna Kincaid was abducted by a psy serial killer and her mind was raped and violated. As time passes she realizes that more was done to her brain that they realized and now she can feel other people’s emotions. The only one who can help her is the handsome but emotionless Judd.

Initially I wasn’t sure if I would like this book because of how different Judd and Brenna are but I was wrong. Judd was everything Brenna needs to work through her past and find a future. I actually really loved these two, hence another 5 stars. I loved watching their love grow and Judd realizing he didn’t want to live without her anymore. He was determined to break silence and be with Brenna. Brenna was also a great heroine. She was determined and stubborn, just what Judd needs. She refused to let him push her away and found the true man inside.

“Why do I keep telling you things I swore I’d take to my grave?”…”Because you know I’ll always be your shield against the nightmares.”

The confrontation between the Psy and Changelings continues in this one. We have new players in the game and the enemies are starting to be revealed. I am really interested in learning more about Ghost and Protocol 1.

Overall, I cannot seem to get enough of this series! I am so glad I decided to reread them all and I hope they continue to be this amazing!
