4 stars – It was really good

Abigail Trent agrees to write a letter to a soldier deployed overseas. She expects it to be a fleeting exchange but she wasn’t prepared for Theodore LaRoux. After just one exchange they connect and can’t stop thinking about each other. They live for that next letter.

I loved this book. I picked it up because it was a quick epistolary romance that would work for a Romanceopoly prompt. I am so glad I chose this one because it was just what I needed after reading a meh book.

Abby and Roux’s relationship was beautiful. I loved the letters written between them. They were so filled with emotion and really captured the essence of who these two are. This was a fun, fast pace novella with a whole lot of heart. I read it in one sitting and will definitely read it again in the future.

Overall, a wonderful novella. It was a great way to get used to reading a epistolary romance as well.
