4 stars – It was really good

Team 52’s resident geek Brooks Jameson has been kidnapped by a group looking for a powerful artifact. He knows his team will come for him; he just has to hold out until then. What he doesn’t expect is to be rescued by Callie, and to start falling for her.

I have loved geeky Brooks, and his amazing t-shirt collection, since the first book! I was so happy he was finally finding love. Brooks is a smart, sexy, tattooed geek who you just can’t help but love. I loved watching Brooks and Callie fall in love in between fighting. It was so sweet.

Callie is the team’s medic, but she can still kick a lot of butt. She has kept people at a distance after a traumatic loss when she was a teenager. These two are solid friends and Brooks kidnapping makes them realize it could be a lot more. Callie has to learn to let her walls down and trust Brooks. These two have a sweet and sexy relationship that I couldn’t get enough of. I wish the book had been longer because I wasn’t ready to let them go.

I cannot wait to read Axel and Natalie’s book because I have been waiting for it for a while now.
