Reading Habits Book Tag

I was tagged by the lovely Soph over at Book, Blog, & Candle to participate in this tag.  Head over to her page to see her responses to these questions.

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

I read anywhere but the majority of the time it’s on my couch, usually with a blanket over my feet.

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Both. I don’t read physical books a lot anymore but I will use anything as a bookmark (as long as it doesn’t damage the book).

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

I can stop reading at any point and pick it right back up later.

Do you eat or drink while reading?

Yes. I like to snack and drink tea or water while reading.

Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

Yes again. I like to read with both music and the tv. Quiet is perfectly fine too.

One book at a time or several at once?

Usually multiple books at once but not always.

Reading at home or everywhere?

Everywhere. I will use any excuse to read.

Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Silently. I have hated reading out loud since grade school when they would call on people to read.

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

No but occasionally I will skim pages if the story/characters are boring or annoying me.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Keep it new!!

Do you write in your books?

No. The only books I would write in, and that was rarely, was textbooks.

Readabits Questions

When do you find yourself reading?

Any chance I get.

What is your best setting to read in?

Any setting for me as long as I can read. Comfortable settings are prefered though.

What do you do first — read or watch?

Read if possible.

What form do you prefer? Audiobook, e-book, or physical book?

I prefer ebooks anymore because they are so convenient and I can easily change books. I love physical books but I hate going places with them because I don’t want them damaged. This year I got into audiobooks and enjoy them as well, especially for classics and nonfiction.

Do you have a unique habit when you read?

I don’t think so.

Do book series have to match?

I prefer if they do. I have rebought series before because they do not match. It annoys me when they don’t match.

I had so much fun with this tag, that I’m tagging:

Anyone who wants to participate because I don’t like singling people out.
