It has been six years since I picked up this book and apparently I have forgotten a lot. I am so glad that I decided to reread this whole series instead of just reading the newest one. Spending time with some of my favorite characters is the perfect way to get through this quarantine.
Wrath is the last pureblood left and is leader of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. He spends his life hunting lessers and fighting with his brothers. When his brother is killed he takes over protection for his half-breed daughter who is unaware of her heritage. She is more than he expected and everything he didn’t know he needed.
I love Wrath and Beth. They are adorable and perfect and I can’t get enough of them! Wrath is a warrior king who has vision problems and a low sense of self worth. Beth shows him how worthy he is and makes him live again. He is strong, protective, and just the perfect vampire male. Beth is kind, determined, and strong. She is beautiful on the inside and out. Not only does she help Wrath, she also brings a sense of peace to the brothers and brings them closer together. I adore these two and love that they stay main characters throughout the series.
I can’t wait to relearn the brothers and their quirks, especially Z. Also Fritz is the best side character ever and I just want to hug him…and let him take care of me.
