4 stars – It was really good

Hunter Holt is an ex-Marine, now a river guide, and is being asked to help search for a missing foster kid. Unfortunately, it means working with the woman who broke his heart. Faye Smith has spent five years trying to get over Hunter, but as soon as they are working together she can’t ignore her feelings.

Hunter and Faye are both new characters to this series. They are foster siblings of Raider’s. I really liked this couple. They are getting a second chance at love, especially now that they have both dealt with their PTSD. Together these two work out their new relationship while finding a missing teenager. I hope we see more of these two in future books of the series.

I can’t wait to see more of the Deep Op group. The characters just keep getting better the more I learn about them, especially with mascots like Roscoe and Kat.
