Title: The Devil’s In the Details
Author: Selene Charles
Series: The Grimm Chronicles #4
Pages: 219

Elle, Hatter, and Crowley find themselves going to Hell, literally, this time. They are being sent to stop a darkness that kills hundreds. I wasn’t sure what to expect after the last book, but this was not it. It was nonstop, unpredictable, dark, and emotional.
While unexpected, I am enjoying the direction this series is going. Elle has changed so much since the first book and her love life has played a big part in that change. We see Hatter being very understanding about Elle’s feelings, especially concerning Crowley and Hook. While it has been hinted throughout the series, we finally start to see the relationships between these three forming (reverse harem fyi). I wonder what will happen next between them, especially if Hook is a part of the next book, because we know she still loves him.
My only issue with this book was that there were quite a bit of grammatical errors. Usually I can overlook them but some of them in this book were very jarring. It won’t stop me from reading the next one but I do hope she updates the manuscript and fixes those errors for future readers.
I can’t wait to read the next one, which I hope I don’t have to wait long for.
