Title: Treyvon
Author: M.K. Eidem
Series: Kaliszians #2
Pages: 656

General Treyvon Rayner is the Supreme Commander of the Kaliszian Defenses. He has spent his life trying to wright the wrongs of his ancestors. He now feels like he has failed the two females they have found in the mines on Pontus, especially Jennifer.
What can I say? I love this series, even with all the story/grammar issues. And yes the cover is awful, but ‘don’t judge a book by its cover.’
Treyvon and Jennifer have a slow building relationship that I just adore. Neither of them are looking for love, or think they deserve it, but as time passes they learn to trust each other they find love and forgiveness. Jennifer is strong, caring, and very reserved. Her time as a slave has made her put up walls to survive, especially when dealing with her injuries. Treyvon is strong, determined, and consumed with protecting the Kaliszian people. They were both very captivating characters and I didn’t want to stop reading.
One of my favorite things about this series is how romantic and emotional each book is. The characters are always so sweet, and sometimes cheesy, but it is so good. Between the romance and emotion between the characters I can’t help but love these big, beaded aliens and the females they fall for. So if you are interested in an alien romance with sweet/ cheesy characters try this series out. I would actually suggest starting with the Tornian series first because that would give you a better understanding of the story.
