Noah Siosal is taking Ivar to an anger management class to try and help him cope with him jumping dimensions. There he meets Abby who is being screwed over by her ex-husband. After rescuing her from her ex a few times he realizes she is his mate.
This was a nice little side story to the DP series. I liked Noah and Abby. Noah was overbearing and protective but also really caring. He was trying to help Ivar and steps in as soon as he sees Abby needs help. Abby is just trying to get away from her abusive ex but he has friends in high places so she gets in trouble instead. She is basically at the end of her rope. I liked Abby because she was determined and strong. She knew things probably wouldn’t go in her favor but she does everything she can to be free.
Their mating was unexpected but it worked. They were a cute couple. Maybe they will show up again in future books. I also really want Raine and Tabitha’s stories now.
